The sitting and
dining areas are collectively over 35' long with a vaulted roof that
rises as high as 14'.
The sitting area
gives onto the terrace which currently accommodates a table with
four chairs, two easy chairs, a gas barbeque and a couple of large
shrubs. Many a pleasant meal has been enjoyed out there on a warm
evening and should there be a spectacular sunset there is no better
place to view it from with a drink by your side.
The master bedroom
also overlooks the river and has two balconies accessed through
double doors - a boon on warm nights.
I usually leave the
curtains open so that I wake up to the view. Most mornings there
are rowers on the river by 6am even when it is cold and rainy. It
is pleasure to be able to pull the duvet up round my chin and
congratulate myself on being warm and cosy.
